Verso cellars is owned by myself and my wife Linda. We have taken our love of fine wine and our sense of adventure and started growing grapes. Six impeccable kinds of cabernet sauvignon grapes. In looking for a name for our wine, we knew we wanted to honor Linda's love of books and her long career as a librarian.
Verso is the term to describe a left-hand page in a book or manuscript. Specifically for librarians, it is the reverse of a book's title page and contains all the information needed in order to assign a number and shelve it properly.
The land we discovered to cultivate for our vineyard is not only perfect for picky cabernet sauvignon grapes, but just happens to be in the shadows of the famous Bookcliffs in Mesa County. Linda's love of books and my sense of adventure have been a magical match-up and 'Verso' fits us perfectly.
